About Cuxton

 The Future of Cuxton

The Community Led Plan Steering Group, formed by local residents from numerous local organisations, is now up and running.

The Group have now adopted a constitution, elected a Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer and have approved a two draft questionnaires. The first is a general questionnaire, the second is intended to gather the views of the young people of Cuxton.

The purpose of the Community Led Plan questionnaire is to survey every household in Cuxton to find out what is important to out village, what is bad in our village and what is good in our village. The questionnaire will gather the weight of evidence necessary to convince service providers that they should make the changes this village demands.

Both of the draft questionnaires can be viewed by clicking on the links below:
Please view these questionnaires and post you comments on their suitability via the web site “Message Centre”.

The group particularly need to know if you think there is any subject missing from the questionnaires or if there is a subject that should be removed.

At the recent Parish Assembly the group conducted a “6 point survey” of those attending by asking them to list three good things and three bad things about Cuxton.

Over the next few months the group will be carrying out further “6 point surveys”  at the Scoutana and the School Fete. Your views are essential, they will influence the development of Cuxton over the next five years, so please try to complete one of the “6 point surveys” if you go to the Scoutana or School Fete.

If you miss the Scoutana and the School Fete an online version of the “6 point survey”  is available by clicking on the link below so that you too can complete your list of three good and bad things about Cuxton.

The questionnaires and survey are in pdf format. You will need adobe acrobat reader to view them. Acrobat reader can be downloaded free from here.
